A great sunny day in the northwest and we decided to take Dad for lunch at the Summit House located at the top of the Crystal Mountain resort Gondola. Fantastic view of Mount Rainier just 12 miles away.
The beer was good but the food was average at best. Kelly suggested a picnic if we return. I recommended bringing a heavier jacket, 7000 feet and a 10 knot wind is kind of cold, even when it is sunny and 80 in Seattle. The quote of the day at the Summit House was the perfect response to all of our friends who just can’t understand us.
